It is heartening to see these efforts yielding results, with the project now accommodated in the national budget.”

He further noted that the Senate, under the leadership of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has acknowledged the dire state of federal roads nationwide. In response, the upper legislative chamber passed a resolution mandating their rehabilitation as a matter of national urgency

Given the country’s current fiscal challenges, we are particularly grateful that our region has been prioritized in this intervention,” he added.

Senator Nwoko praised the Federal Government’s infrastructure agenda, highlighting its potential to improve connectivity between Delta, Anambra, and Edo states, boost commercial activities, and ease transportation burdens for citizens. He also commended the Honourable Minister of Works, Sen. Umahi, for his proactive approach to delivering quality infrastructure.
