… Says he has done his best for the party
Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, a former house of representatives member and director-general of Bola Tinubu support group council, has announced his official defection from the All Progressive Congress (APC) to a new party he is yet to mention.
Jubril who has been in the forefront of marketing Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition in a statement said, he has done his best for APC and the time has come for him to move on.
The former lawmaker made the announcement through his official Twitter handle.
He said, “I have done my best for APC. Its time to move on. I will announce my new political party within the next 24 hours insha Allah. I will make a formal statement in due course. Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin”
Meanwhile, his sudden defection from the party has raised speculations that the former Lagos State governor, Tinubu might not get the presidential ticket of the party.
