The Opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Nasarawa state has said it is ready to unseat the rulling All Progressive Congress, APC despite the current internal wranglings in the party.

Speaking at a press conference in Lafia, Nasarawa state Capital, Chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Bako Ninja explained that the opposition PDP was uch better than the ruling APC in the state.

He said Nigerians were tired with the outright failure of the rulling APC that has brought untold hardship to the citizenry.

“PDP in Nasarawa state will takeover powers from the APC government because of their insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians”.

“Our aim is to form a government in Nasarawa in 2027. All our aggrieved members are ready to come back to the secretariat. Our desire is to reconcile our members.

“We are conscious of the fact that in the cause of the contest, we might have offended some people. We are preaching forgiveness and our people are ready to forgive one another in other to form a formidable force to wrestle powers from the already weak APC”, Ninga stated.

The party Chairman who warned against selfishness amongst members ahead 2027, said there was no reasons for Nigerians to vote a party without agenda, not ready to provide good governance.

“Nasarawa is ready to retire APC in 2027 due largely to out.right failure to secure the people, salvage the country from hardship, starvation, poverty

To realize the dram of the party, Ninga said that the setting up of the reconciliation committee, chaired by Sule Nasidi who is also the chairman of the Elders’ Forum was to ensure a more united, all-inclusive and formidable party.

He assured that PDP, under his watch, would ensure that the party remained the only hope and best alternative that would enthrone good governance in the state by bringing it back to the people.
