2027: Ex NOA DG reaffirms commitment to Nation building, hails constituent for toing parth of change

The former Director General of the National ORIENTATION Agency (NOA), Dr Mike Omeri Agbo, has commended the people of Nasararawa South Senatorial Zone for their resilliance especially the Traditional institution for preserving the rich culture of Alago, describing it as a beacon of unity and a cultural legacy that strengthens national cohesion.

Dr Omeri in a exclusive interview with Journalists in Abuja, Tuesday noted that traditional institutions remain indispensable to peace, stability, and development, stating that this should be viewed as a strategic partners in nation-building.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) 2027 senatorial aspirant further acknowledged the role of the monarchs, elder statesmen, community leaders and opinion leaders in sustaining the culture of the people, also commended the southern zone of the state for young the party of truth by standing by the opposition PDP, as well as realizing the need for a positive change ahead of the 2027 general Elections.

According to the senatorial hope, PDP agenda if voted in 2027, will tackle insecurity, address poverty, hunger, the inabtitude of the present government, touched on all regions of the state, place the economy of the state on the part of development, positive trajectory.

He revealed that Nasararawa South which has remain unatteded to despite the available mineral resources yet un tapped would be transformed through strategic appointments and infrastructure.

He expressed gratitude to the people for their patience in the face of economic hardship, disaster that not long ago be falling the area especially Keana local government where families were rendered homeless, farm lands washed away without interventions from both the state and the federal governments.

“I want to give personal patriotic advice to the youths who are the energy and strength of society to be proactive, vigilant and diligent by participating in the ongoing voter registration exercise as a civic duty as every right comes with a responsibility as well”.

While, further encouragi the citizens to be focused, committed to the progress of the zone in particular and the state at large, said this was necessary of their faith, Dr Omeri, assured of his determined effort to redefine the political direction of the zone.

He urged his constitutes to go all out and mobilise prospective voters for the INEC-organised voter registration exercise across the state, appealing to all the party stakeholders, supporters to embark on intensive grassroots sensitisation/mobilisation of eligible voters for registration, Dr Omeri called for the education of the citizens on the INEC’s CVR
