Plots by Expelled Wike’s Allies to Break into PDP Secretariat Exposed

Intelligence report has revealed plots by the expelled former national officers of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike to secretly break into the sealed National Secretariat of the party to hold an illegal meeting as well as make away with vital documents belonging to the party.
Intelligence further revealed that this elements in connivance with some compromised security personnel are desperate to clandestinely enter the party secretariat before December 8, 2025 to announce an illegal Caretaker Committee using the venue of the Secretariat to give their scheme a legitimacy coloration.
It was learnt that the said expelled former party national officers plan to gather some journalists at Wike’s official residence in Abuja alongside other individuals who they intend to parade as member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and convey them in unmarked buses to the party secretariat with heavy security details as early as 5am on a date to be chosen.
Their plot is to enter the secretariat, hurriedly announce an illegal Caretaker Committee and bribe the journalist to use their unsuspecting media houses to mislead the public.
It was gathered that the Wike group plans to swiftly execute their scheme before genuine party member would be aware, after which the police would re-seal the secretariat.
Reports have it that Wike allies attempted to enter the Secretariat on Wednesday but had to pull back after some party members who have been monitoring activities around the secretariat sighted and accosted their advance team led by certain aides of the expelled former National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu.
The battle for the PDP National Secretariat saw the Kabiru Tanimu Turaki-led newly elected National Working Committee last week Tuesday take control of the complex from the Wike group in the company of party leaders including Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed and his Oyo State counterpart, Engr. Seyi Makinde after a clash with party members and supporters on both sides.
Wike and the expelled party officers who came earlier that Tuesday with heavy security and armed thugs in the attempt to forcefully take over the secretariat were resisted and chased away by party members in a clash that lead to the cordoning of the complex by security agencies.
Members of the PDP monitoring activities around the secretariat vowed that they will never allow any illegal entry into the complex stating that party members stand with the outcome of the Ibadan National Convention and recognize only the newly elected Turaki-led NWC
