The former NOA DG, who spoke to Journalists in Abuja on Friday, said after a careful assessment of the challenges confronting his constituency in particular and Nasarawa in general, has become increasingly evident that the greatest leadership crisis confronting the people is not lack of potential, but a deficit in responsive, inclusive and effective leadership.

“In Our beloved constituency, it has become increasingly evident that our greatest challenge is not a lack of potential, but a deficit in responsive, inclusive, and effective leadership.

“Today, many of our traditional rulers; the custodians of our culture, peace, and communal values are left to shoulder the enormous responsibility of maintaining harmony and order within our communities with little support.

“The absence of consistent grassroots engagement, selective consultation of stakeholders, and empowerment limited to a privileged few have weakened the bond between leadership and the people.

“The result is a constituency yearning for direction, unity, and purposeful representation”, the senatorial Candidate stated.

Omeri added that With a wealth of leadership experience acquired from diverse spheres of life, he possesses the vision, competence, and capacity to unite the people, restore confidence in leadership.

He understands that true representation is about service to all, regardless of political affiliation, social status, or community background, but noted that when entrusted with the mandate of the people, he will remain committed to

restoring peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence across communities.

The former NOA DG further reiterated his determined zeal to Providing inclusive and people-oriented leadership, Strengthening grassroots participation in governance, Promoting economic empowerment; Creating opportunities for youths and women through sustainable empowerment programmes; discovering, nurturing, and supporting talents across the constituency and beyond as well as

ensuring equitable development and fair representation for all.

According to him, the time has come to choose competence over complacency, service over self-interest, and unity over division. “Together, let us move Nasarawa south and by extension Nasarawa state forward, build the Constituency of our dreams and jointly provide a purposeful leadership
