Yet to be identified gunmen, on Sunday evening launched a daring attack on the Jos Correctional Centre (Prison).
As at the time of filling this report, details of the attack was still sketchy as no victim has been reported dead or injured despite, heavy gunfire heard by residents of the area.
A resident of the area told TMS News that they heard heavy gunfire around the facility housing the correctional center but could not comment further on the nature of the attack.
