Airforce Arrest Personnel ‘In Connection with Bandits’ Attack on NDA

The Nigerian Airforce (NAF) on Monday said it has arrested one of it’s personnel serving in Adamawa in connection with the bandits that attacked the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) in Kaduna.

The force’s official statement confirmed that the official, named Torsabo Solomon of 153 BSG is attached with the Airforce Comprehensive School Yola.

Solomon was arrested on Monday on the order of the Base Commander as requested by the NDA Commander for an offence bordering on arms and ammunition with a recent bandit attack on the defense academy.

The airforce said the arrested personnel will arrive at one of its “flight line to convey him from Yola to NDA Kaduna for further interrogation.”

It will be recalled that terrorists on August 24 breached the security of the defense academy and killed two officers before kidnapping another.
