Don’t Commission Gov Sule’s Fake Projects, PDP Cautions Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu

The PDP in Nasarawa state has raised alarm over plans by Governor Abdullahi Sule to decieve President Bola Tinubu to commission fake projects in the state.

In a press statement issued in Lafia by the Press Secretary to the PDP state chairman, Jonathan Ipaa, the PDP has dismissed as fake the renovated projects and vehicles lined up for the president to commission next month.

Governor Sule at a State Executive Council meeting in Lafia informed that:

“We have written a letter to invite President Bola Tinubu to come and commission projects in the state as part of activities marking two years of the President in office.”

However, investigation revealed that the over-bloated state’s projects lined up for the president to commission are being renovated or repainted to look new.

Some of these projects were those earlier commissioned by former President Muhammudu Buhari in 2023 during his state visit.

In order to celebrate the two years of President Tinubu in office, Governor Sule has embarked upon the repainting, fabricating of vehicles and structures of project sites.

“They are inviting the President to come and commission an uncompleted underpass bridge in Lafia, the 5km Shendam Road ex president Buhari had commissioned before.”

“Recall that former president Buhari was faked to commission the 30 years old Karu International market as Buhari market during his last state’s visit to Nasarawa.” Recall also, that the mass transit buses commissioned by Buhari, alleged to have been procured the Sule, have disappeared without any trace, immediately after the said event. In the current claim,

Some of the vehicles said to have been bought by the governor, and are arriving from China are being repainted at a warehouse in Abuja in an attempt to repeat the last Buhari scandal.

The PDP cautions President Tinubu to be wary of the state government serialized deceits, especially in lining fake projects to cover up monumental failures in governance.
