Zauren Malam Liman-Qur'anic Recitation Center in Lafia the State Capital

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has commissioned the newly constructed Zauren Malam Liman/Qur’anic Recitation Center in Lafia the State Capital.

This is even as the Speaker, Danladi Jatau joined other personalities at the commissioning of Zauren Malam Liman Qur’anic Recitation Centre and the naming ceremony of new born to the State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry Barr. Abubakar Imam Zanwa

The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government Barr. Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu commended the Commissioner for his effort and immortalizing the Centre after his father.

He equally commended the founding father of Zauren Malam Muhammadu Gana, saying that it has a long historical background and prayed that the gesture should be maintain so as to benefit humanity.

He called on spirited individuals in the society to always channel their resources to religion activities to enable them gain reward as well as to benefit the society.

The occasion which was held alongside the naming ceremony of a new born baby girl to the family of Hon. Abubakar Imam Zanwa, former member representing Lafia Central and State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry.

The naming ceremony was performed by the Chief Imam of Masalacin Gabas Juma’a Mosque, Makurdi Road, Lafia Malam Abdullahi Limamin Gabas where he named the baby Aminat with nickname Noor.

He prayed that Aminat should be of good character, reciter of the Holy Qur’an and of benefit to the parent and the society at large.

He enjoined the people to continue to pray for the success of leaders and for peaceful coexistence among the diverse ethnic groups and the unity of the country.

Mallam Abdullahi equally called on leaders at all levels to lead with the fear of God as they will one day stand before God and give account of their deeds.

Dignitaries in attendance included Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu, Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, representing the Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, Rt. Hon. Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, Member representing Lafia Central, Hon. Solomon Yakubu Akwashiki, Member representing Awe North, Hon. Hudu A Hudu, State Chairman All Progressive Congress Dr. Aliyu Bello, Madakin Lafia, Alh. Ishaka Dauda, Sangarin Shabu, HRH Alh. Mamuda Umaru, former Chairman Lafia LG Hon. Aminu Muazu Maifata, former member, Lafia North, Hon. Mohammed Alkali among other distinguished personalities.

Highlights at the occasion was the performance by praise singers, Yan Kuge and other traditional drummers.
