OMERI MOURNS EMIR OF LAFIA’S BROTHER, CONDOLES ROYAL FAMILY

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Nasarawa South Senatorial District, Dr. Mike Omeri, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Alhaji Ahmed Bage, younger brother of the Emir of Lafia, His Royal Highness, Justice Sidi Dauda Bage I (Rtd.).

In a condolence message made available to journalists on Monday, Omeri described the death of the late Ahmed Bage as a painful loss to the Lafia Emirate, noting that the deceased lived a life of humility, dignity and unwavering commitment to his community.

He extended his heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Lafia, the Bage family, the Lafia Emirate Council and the entire people of the emirate, praying Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest.

“I received with profound sadness the news of the passing of Alhaji Ahmed Bage. His demise is a painful loss not only to the Bage family but also to the entire Lafia Emirate. At moments like this, words can hardly ease the grief of losing a loved one, but I pray that Almighty Allah grants the family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Omeri said.

The PDP senatorial candidate urged the royal family and the people of Lafia Emirate to take solace in the exemplary life and enduring legacy of the deceased.

“My sincere condolences go to His Royal Highness, Justice Sidi Dauda Bage I (Rtd.), the Emir of Lafia, the entire Bage family, the Lafia Emirate Council and all the people of the emirate. May Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus and comfort all those mourning this great loss,” he added.

Omeri said although the death of a loved one is always painful, the late Ahmed Bage would be remembered for his virtues, kindness and contributions to the progress and unity of the Lafia Emirate.

He prayed that Allah would continue to uphold the Emir, the royal family and the entire Lafia Emirate during this period of mourning and grant them the courage to bear the loss with faith and submission to the will of God.
