WADADA Empowerment and Medical Outreach Benefits Hundreds in Keana

Hundreds of residents of Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State benefited from a comprehensive empowerment programme and free medical outreach organised in support of the governorship aspiration of Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The programme, convened by Hon. Robert Garba (Papa), featured free medical services, financial grants, agricultural support, and educational assistance aimed at improving the welfare of the people while strengthening grassroots support for Senator Wadada’s 2027 governorship ambition.

In his welcome address, Hon. Robert Garba said the initiative was designed to provide direct support to the people of Keana while mobilising greater backing for Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada’s governorship aspiration. He conveyed the senator’s apologies for his absence, explaining that Senator Wadada was unable to attend personally due to official engagements but sent his goodwill and best wishes to the people of Keana.
Representing Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada at the event, Hon. Edward Auta commended Hon. Robert Garba (Papa) for organizing the empowerment and medical outreach programme, describing it as an initiative that reflects Senator Wadada’s commitment to improving the lives of ordinary citizens.

He stated that Senator Wadada has built a reputation for fulfilling his promises, noting that the senator’s track record of service and delivery has earned him the confidence of the people.

Hon. Auta assured the people of Keana that Senator Wadada remains deeply committed to their welfare and development, stressing that the Keana people occupy a special place in his vision for a more prosperous Nasarawa State.

He expressed confidence that, if elected Governor in 2027, Senator Wadada would consolidate on the developmental strides already recorded in the state and deliver inclusive governance that would positively impact every community.

Representing the APC State Chairman, Hon. Aliyu Bello, Hon. Mohammed Ayitogo the APC Nasarawa South Vice Chairman described the medical outreach as a huge success, noting that residents turned out in large numbers to receive treatment and medical attention.

He said healthcare remains one of Senator Wadada’s major priorities and urged the people of Keana to continue supporting the APC, the Senator Wadada Movement, and all candidates presented by the party in future elections.

Chairman of the Senator Wadada Youth Ambassadors, Hon. Zaidu Tanko, commended the organisers for the empowerment programme and medical outreach, describing the initiative as a worthy intervention that directly impacts the lives of ordinary citizens.

He praised Senator Wadada for his commitment to the welfare of the people, expressing confidence that even greater developmental programmes would be implemented if he is elected Governor of Nasarawa State in 2027.

Speaking as the Mother of the Day, the State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, Hajiya Aisha Adamu, applauded the organisers and Senator Wadada for extending support to the people of Keana.

She reaffirmed the commitment of the City Boy Movement to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and announced a donation of ₦2 million in support of the initiative.

The empowerment programme featured a wide range of interventions, including a free medical outreach that offered consultations, essential drugs, laboratory tests, and major surgical procedures such as Caesarean sections, appendectomies, and fibroid surgeries.

Medical screening services included tests for hepatitis, diabetes, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, typhoid, blood-related conditions, and other common ailments.

As part of the empowerment package, 100 women entrepreneurs received ₦50,000 business grants each to support and expand their small businesses, while 200 farmers were provided with 25-kilogram bags of fertilizer and herbicides to boost food production during the farming season.

In addition, 100 indigenous students benefited from ₦25,000 educational grants each to help cushion the rising cost of education.

The programme was widely applauded by beneficiaries and community leaders, who described it as a timely intervention that demonstrated Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada’s commitment to improving healthcare, education, agriculture, and economic empowerment at the grassroots
