PDP, DSS move to secure Nasarawa through partnership

The opposition People’s Democratic party PDP in Nasarawa state has enter into Partnership DSS on how to Secure Nasarawa.

The partnership according to a statement by the press secretary to PDP in Nasarawa state, Jonathan Ipaa, is to bring the two parties in close working relationship to secure Nasarawa state

According to the statement made available to TMSnews in Lafia Wednesday, Department of State Services, DSS has accepted the partnership deal offered by the new Leadership of the PDP in Nasarawa state.

The DSS director in the state, Usman Ibrahim Biu hinted while playing host to the Alh Adamu Ninga led PDP delegation in Lafia on Wednesday the deal between the two parties will work jointly to ensure that there were no breach of peace in the state.

The DSS boss in the state charged the PDP leaders to further sensitize it’s members against any act of thuggery, violence and avoid politics of bitterness.
He said: “we will always advise where is necessary and do the needful at the same time”.

He urged Nasarawa people to assist the service with vitae information on the activities of criminals especially in the areas of illegal mining, weapons stockpiling, circulation of fake currency and kidnapping amongst others.

Ibrahim Biu assured his visitors of adequate cooperation in sharing of useful advice, synergy where necessary.

He said that illegality has no opposition as it affects both the perpetrators, the politicians and their supporters.

He however warned that the law will be applied proportionately where necessary.

Earlier, the PDP state chairman, Alh Adamu Ninga, had advocated for a working synergy between his party and the service for a smooth politicking in the state.
