Southern Kaduna elders urged to guide younger generation

Apostle Emmanuel Bako, General Overseer, Good news power based Church, Kafanchan, has tasked elders in the south of Kaduna to provide guidance to the younger generation to enable them achieve success in life.

Bako made the call in Kafanchan on Sunday at a meeting tagged: “Just Before You Go”, organised for senior citizens in the area.

According to him, the meeting was convened to encourage the elderly to make proclaimations that will bring positive change to the area.

He said that it was regrettable that some parents do not see the need to lay a good foundation for their children to build on.

He decried a situation where senior citizens shy away from making positive declarations and proclamations that speak to the existence of their children.

The convener also appealed to the older generation to teach their children the history of their origin so that they could transfer same to future generations.

While emphasising the need for parents to continue to declare blessings on their children no matter the circumstance, Bako explained that doing so would create a bright future for them.

The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) reports that participants at the meeting resolved to begin to make positive declarations on their children and also guide them toward the right path.
