Update: Plateau missing Hyena found, return to den [+Video]

The Management of Plateau State Tourism Corporation has announced the capture of missing Hyena which strayed out the den of Jos wildlife Park Monday after relentless search and rescue efforts.

The animal was tranquilized, captured and returned to it’s enclosure.
The tourism board appreciated the general public for remaining calm and cooperative, which led to the search and rescue of the animal.

It would be recalled that the management of the Plateau State Tourism Corporation had announced the escape of an hyena from it cage at Jos wildlife Park and was tracked by a team of game guard and park rangers with the assistance of drone technology.
The tourism corporation in public announcement Monday July 8, 2024, assured the public that they are taking all necessary measures to locate the escaped animal and ensure its safe return to its enclosure soonest.
