Why PDP Will Revamp Research Arm- Debo Ologunagba

 

In preparation to run a solution-driven government upon assumption of office in May 2023, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to commission its revamped research arm, the Peoples Democratic Institute (PDI) to enhance the Party’s intellectual resource base ahead of the 2023 general elections.

 

A statement by the party’s Nationa publicity Secretary NPS, Debo Ologunagba disclosed that Presidential Candidate of the PDP, H.E Atiku Abubakar is expected to lead other Party leaders and development Partners to perform the commissioning ceremony on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the PDI Ultra-Modern Complex in Asokoro, Abuja.

 

The PDI which is revamped by the Sen. Dr. Iyorchia Ayu-led National Working Committee has been fully computerized and repositioned with state-of-the-art equipment, resource materials and trained personnel to deliver strategic data and statistics to enable the PDP hit the ground running on the first day in office by providing solutions for the myriads of problems brought upon our nation by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

 

According to the NPS, the revamped PDI is designed to provide research data to unlock our national potentials, revitalize our productive sector, stimulate wealth creation, youth and women empowerment, job creation and food sufficiency in the country under an Atiku Abubakar-led administration.

 

He furthe said that the PDI is expected to provide data for rapid intervention in power, healthcare, energy, housing, education, agriculture, commerce and industry among others.

 

“It would be recalled that the PDI assisted in providing strategic roadmaps for the feats recorded by successive PDP administrations by growing the economy to become one of the fastest growing economies in the world, with massive job opportunities for Nigerians.” He added.
