The Archdeacon of Oyi Central Archdeceaconry and Vicar of St James Parish Awkuzu in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State, Ven. David Arinze Ajaefobi, has been abducted by unidentified gunmen
The abduction of the clergy TMSNEWS gathered occurred around 9:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the entrance gate of St. James’ Parish, Awkuzu.
At the time of filing this report, no contact has been established with his abductors
The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said while commented on the matter that the police had not received report of the incident.
Meanwhile, the church has have commenced intense prayer sessions for the safe release of the victim.
