The senator representing Delta North senatorial District, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko has been described as a symbol of good governance, best performing parliament and a distinguished Nigerian with a weavering commitment to the unity and development of Nigeria.
The attributes of senstor Nwoko is coming on the heels of his outstanding quality lawmaking that has not only earned him a recognized position as the African Democracy Heroes leadership award.
The lawmaker who is to be honoured as Best Performing Senator of the Year at the Democracy Heroes Award Africa 2025, amongst other African leaders is celebrated for initiating various reforms, strengthening democratic institutions, advanced public welfare, and inspired a new generation of political leadership across the continent.
According to a statement signed and made available to Journalists by the media consultant to senator Ned Nwoko, Michael Ogar on Sunday, the high-profile ceremony, scheduled to hold at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, will celebrate distinguished African leaders.
“This year’s theme, “Legacy of Leadership: Powering Africa’s Future,” underscores the growing demand for visionary governance at a time when African democracies are navigating complex social and economic challenges.

The statement adds that senator Ned Nwoko, emerged as a leading voice in national affairs, championing education reform, youth empowerment, agricultural innovation, and equitable federal representation.
