The Department of State Security Services, DSS has called on the public to disregard reports that Abia senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe had been arrested by the agency.
This was in response to a viral report on social media that the controversial senator was arrested for wearing a t-shirt with the inscription, ‘dot nation’ on Wednesday.
Another report alleged that he was arrested in Transcorp Hilton hotel in Abuja during a function.
The agency in response to this on Thursday, disclosed that no such thing ever happened.
“It’s not true pls”, a text from spokesperson, Peter Afunanya (Phd) reads.
It could be recalled that about two weeks ago, President Buhari during an interview with Arise TV, had described the Igbos of Eastern Nigeria where Sen. Enyinnna Abaribe hails from, as a dot in the circle.
