Breaking: FG Establishes Special Unit for Direct Fund Disbursement to 774 LGAs

The Federal Government has created a dedicated unit within the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) to oversee the direct allocation of funds to all 774 local governments nationwide.

This measure is to fasttrack the implementation of financial autonomy for the third tier of government which begins this month.
