RE: DISCLAIMER OF THE CLAIM THAT “NASARAWA PDP WIKE FACTION COLLAPSES STRUCTURE TO APC”

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nasarawa State Chapter, has noted with concern the misleading publication captioned “Nasarawa Collapses Structures for APC,” allegedly issued by Hon. SANI MUHAMMED KEFFI who is no longer a member of our great Party-PDP. For the avoidance of doubt, the said individual was duly suspended and removed from his office and party dated 02/06/2026 by the National Headquarters for anti-party activities contrary to Section 58(j) of the PDP Constitution 2017 as amended. Therefore, Hon. Mohammed Sani Keffi & Co lack the legal and moral authority to issue statements or speak on behalf of the PDP in any capacity. His views are entirely personal and mischievous and should not, under any circumstance, be construed as the position of the Peoples Democratic Party-PDP.

It is equally important to urge the public to disregard statements from suspended individuals who has never been member of the His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Nyesom Wike political family, he was until his suspension a member of the Turaki led faction and therefore could not be in any position whatsoever to speak for the PDP that has it structures intact for communicating with itself and the general public. Any attempt to associate his actions or comments with the Wike political structure is therefore, false, mischievous, and a deliberate attempt to mislead the public. The PDP in Nasarawa State remains united, focused, and committed without factions in the state but one indivisible entity under the able National Chairmanship of Alhaji Mohammed Abdullrahaman and it National leader His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Nyesom Wike to strengthening the party and providing purposeful leadership to the people of the state and will not be distracted by the antics of individuals seeking relevance through baseless and provocative statements.

The Nasarawa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has a recognized Governorship Candidate for the 2027 General Elections in the person of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. David Emmanuel Ombugadu, Hon. Anthony Benbela Madaki as the Candidate for the Nasarawa-North Senatorial District as well as other candidates for all positions in the state who emerged through a process organized and supervised by the National Headquarters of the party.

The PDP Nasarawa State chapter distances itself from the false publication that the Wike faction in the state has defected to the APC. Hence, we urge our members, supporters, and the general public to disregard the publication in its entirety, as it is devoid of truth, credibility, and official backing.
Only statements issued by the duly recognized leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nasarawa State Chapter, through its authorized officials, represent the official position of the party.
