The Chief of Protocol to Nigeria’s First Lady, Ambassador Henry John Omaku (FCIM), has donated Six Million Naira and directed the immediate drilling of a borehole at the newly constructed Secretariat of the Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) Alumni Association in Keffi.
Amb. Omaku, a distinguished alumnus of the University, made the commitment on Saturday when the President of the NSUK Alumni Association, Barr. Nuhu J. Egya, Notary Public, led members of the National Executive Committee and other stakeholders on a solidarity visit to his Abuja residence.
A statement issued by Godspower Ede the National Public Relations Officer of
NSUK Alumni Association revealed that
the diplomat disclosed that the financial intervention is to support the furnishing of the Secretariat and other lined-up activities of the Association.
He further called for sustained unity among members, urging them to rally behind the current leadership to consolidate the “positive records” already set.
While commending the Nuhu Egya-led EXCO for attracting development to their alma mater, the envoy noted that institutional progress thrives only when loyalty outpaces rivalry.
